Rita Marie Mason, 44, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, 
died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Gertrude Geddes 
Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
funeral home, with burial in Southdown Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Eva Bernard Mason of Houma; four daughters, 
Cheryl, Alisha, Markette and La'Quinita Mason, all of Houma; two brothers, 
Charles Mason of Houma and Willie Mason and wife, Yvette, of Chauvin; three 
sisters, Sandra Kennedy and husband, John of Houma, Lorraine Short and husband, 
Norris of Gibson, and Sherril Evans and husband, Williams of Texas; and one 
grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Bill Mason Sr.; one sister, 
Christine Mason; and her grandmother, Abbie Sims.

She was Catholic and a homemaker.

Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
