Shirley LeBlanc Mayet, 74, a native of Schriever and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 
a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in 
Thibodaux. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at 
St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her husband, Lois "Black" Mayet; two sons, Mark and Percy 
Mayet; three daughters, Elizabeth "Liz" Mayet, Patsy Mayet and Ellen Mayet; one 
brother, Gerald LeBlanc; three sisters, Marion Malbrough of Dularge, Betty Lou 
Toups of Chackbay and Vivian Bosarge of Thibodaux; five grandchildren, Nicole 
"Niki" Durocher, Heidi Mayet, Misty Pertuit of Belle Chase, Marci Thibodaux and 
Roger "Dale" Mayet; and three great-grandchildren, Trevor Fabiano of Belle 
Chase, Taylor Thibodaux and Parker John Mayet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton LeBlanc Sr. and Odette Benoit 
LeBlanc; three brothers, Alton LeBlanc Jr., Kenneth and Harold LeBlanc.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
