Miley, 91, a native of Laneville, Texas and a resident of Houma, died peacefully with his granddaughters by his side, Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, Virginia LeBlanc and husband, Gene; two granddaughters, Tyre LeBlanc and Jean Renee and husband, Lewey; four great- grandchildren, Lacie Stacks, Katie Porche, Tori LeBlanc and Melia Taylor; five great-great-grandchildren, Leighton and Mila Comeaux, Maverick Jambon, Trysten and Elyse Stacks; and one sister, Joyce Hopkins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Monnie Lavelle Miley; and one brother, Loren Miley. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge 193 of New Iberia.
