Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chauvin. A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Fred Benoit as celebrant. A wonderful husband, father, stepfather, brother, and stepgrandfather, Thomas Ordoyne will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him. He graduated from Nicholls State University in 1978 and worked in oil related jobs for more than 30 years as a consultant and rig supervisor. He loved his job and was committed to his work. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 24 years, Martha Duplantis Ordoyne; two stepsons, Keith Pellegrin and wife, Annette, and Brian Pellegrin and wife, Jennifer; two sons, Nicholas and Joshua Ordoyne; four sisters, Pat Babin, Valerie Bourgeois, Jean Bourgeois and Kathy Thibodaux; five step- grandchildren, Austin and Bryce Pellegrin, Teagan Chartier, Dale Rogers Jr. and Robinette Rogers; and two step-great-grandchildren, Blake Chartier and Caleb Chartier. Now he rests in Heaven with his parents, Nicholas and Augustine Durocher Ordoyne; his siblings, Nicholas Jr., Susan, Doris and Ray; and a step- granddaughter, Dannette Rogers.
