Beverly Agnes LaFrance Pereira, 79, a native of Raceland and a resident of 
Thibodaux, died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 
a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will 
be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Lenny Pereira and wife, Tammy, Mike Pereira and 
wife, Tammy, and Nick Pereira; one daughter, Connie Jo Boudreaux and husband, 
Wayne; two brothers, Joe LaFrance and Bobby LaFrance; two sisters, Shirley Hon 
and Gail Cheramie; 10 grandchildren, Mileina Battaglia, Heather Pereira, Autumn 
Douglas, Amber Mangiarcina, Melissa Webre, Dustin Duplantis, Mike Pereira, Leah 
Bourgeois, Brandi Boudreaux and Alexis Boudreaux; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe L. Pereira Jr.; her parents, 
Edward LaFrance Sr. and Anastasia Fitzgerald LaFrance; two brothers, Edward 
LaFrance Jr. and Billy LaFrance; and four sisters, Joyce Berelocqua, Rosemary 
Roth, Irma Micks and June LeCompte.

She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 349 Raceland and 
the owner and operator of Lafourche Novelty Company Inc. and Pereira Enterprise 
Inc.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
