Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be held at noon Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Tina Louviere Pierce; his parents, Edville and Thelma Brunet Pierce; two sons, Mark J. Pierce and wife, Kristina, and Tyler M. Pierce; one brother, Michael G. Pierce and wife, Joy; one sister, Cheryl P. Wilson and husband, Bill; his brother-in-law, Johnny Adams; and two grandchildren, Madeline Pierce and Kolten Pierce. He was preceded in death by one sister, Karen P. Adams. He was Catholic and in the U.S. Army reserves. He loved spending time with his family. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, an avid deer hunter, fisherman, affectionately known as "Uncle Froggy" to his nieces and nephews. He was employed in the oilfield for 30 years as a production engineer. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements. ===================
