Vernon Robinson, 57, a native and resident of Raceland, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 
2010.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Mount Zion Baptist 
Church in Raceland. Religious service will be held at noon Wednesday at the 
church, with burial in the Brooklyn Cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by his wife, Constance R. Robinson; his parents, Granville and 
Mary Robinson; one son, Vernon Javar Robinson of Raceland; one daughter, Shekera 
R. Stewart of Raceland; four sisters, Doris Adams, Jackie Smith, Yvonne 
Hollingsworth and Allison Hughes, all of Raceland; six brothers, Russell, Steve, 
Brian, Eric, Curt and Craig Robinson, all of Raceland; and three grandchildren.

He was Baptist.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
