Dennis C. Sandras, 49, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 12:06 p.m. 
Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church in Cut Off. Mass will be held at noon Monday at the church, with burial 
at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his father, Louis J. Sandras Jr.; his mother and stepfather, 
Dorothy L. Cheramie and Clarence J. Cheramie Jr.; one son, Jonathan McCartney; 
one daughter, Sophie A. Sandras; one brother, Charles Sandras and wife, Wanda; 
two sisters, Stefanie Sandras and Sabrina S. Savoie and husband, Reggie; one 
stepsister, Sandy Criswell and husband, Don; and two grandchildren.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a 1979 graduate of South Lafourche High School.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
