Brunetta Ann Cross Stevenson, 58, a native of Gibson and resident of Terrebonne 
Parish, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Triumph Baptist Church, 
6313 Bayou Black Drive in Gibson. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday 
at the church, with burial at St. James Baptist Church Cemetery in Gibson.

She is survived by two sons, Shayne Stevenson of Bahrain, Saudia Arabia, and 
Shawn Stevenson of Gibson; one daughter, Shannon Mosely of Amelia; two brothers, 
Quenson Cross Sr. of New Iberia and Robert Cross of Monroe; three sisters, Edna 
J. Cosey of Baton Rouge, Katherine C. Bowens of Houma, and Virginia C. Nevarez 
of Raceland; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Emelda Cross; one sister, 
Ruthy C. Gray; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She was a member of Triumph Baptist Church, where she served as vice president 
of the Usher Board.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
