Dale Paul Toups Sr., 64, a native of Gheens and a resident of Lockport, died at 
6:43 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his companion, Naomi Rousse; one son, Dale Toups Jr.; two 
stepsons, Cody and Cory Rousse; three daughters, Sara Jo Plaisance and husband, 
Ted, Cammy Legarde and husband, Ralph Jr. "G-Boy", and Alyssa Thomas; eight 
brothers, Donovan, Cleary, Kearney, Lindel, Dean, Reed, Randy "Joe" and Lane 
Toups; four sisters, Dolores Foreman, Brenda Martinez, Connie Matherne and Cathy 
Durio; and five grandchildren, Brittney, Courtney, Whitney Plaisance, Shea' 
Toups and Dale "Tre" Toups III.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Bess Dufrene Toups; three 
brothers, Alvin, Tommy and Sandy Toups; and three sisters, Wanda Toups, Shillie 
Sampey and Lois Walker.

He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
