Bertha Kern Traigle, 91, a native of Napoleonville and a resident of Thibodaux, 
died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Margaret T. Sanders; five sons, Adam, Louis, 
Robert, Ricky and Richard Traigle; one brother, Lloyd Kern Sr.; two sisters, 
Dora K. Simoneaux and Lorraine K. Griffin; and numerous grandchildren, great-
grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Leo Traigle; her parents, Joseph 
Kern and Victoria Richard Kern; one daughter, Judy T. Thibodaux; five sons, 
Gerald Traigle, Michael Traigle, Kenneth Traigle, Wayne Traigle and Carol 
Traigle; one brother, Joseph Kern; and one sister, Louise Kern.

Landry's Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
