Visitation will be held from 9 to 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Christopher Decker as officiant. Interment will follow in the church mausoleum. She is survived by one brother, Haydel A. Waguespack Sr. and wife, Leanne, of Garyville; four sisters, Marcelle W. Haydel and husband, Claude, and Blanche W. Troxclair and husband, Leon, both of Jefferson, Jewell W. Cuccia and husband, Louis, of Terrytown, and Gaynell W. Bourgeois and husband, Leo, of Vacherie; two nieces, Michelle B. Schexnayder and Nannette B. Nickens; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney P. Waguespack Sr. and Blanche Haydel Waguespack; a brother Sidney P. Waguespack Jr.; a niece, Pamela Waguespack; and a nephew, Leo Bourgeois Jr. She was a retired teacher with the St. James Parish School Board with 40 years of service. She was a member of Court St. Philip Catholic Daughters No. 1504, and the Ladies Altar Society of St. Philip Catholic Church Parish. The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Joseph Hospice and Lafourche Home for the Aged for the care they have given her. Arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher. ===================
