Joseph "Joe" Marcel Adams III, 62, a native of Galliano, and a resident of 
Eunice, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in 
Cut Off, with 

burial in Barrios Cemetery in Valentine.

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Eschette; son, Lance Henry Adams and 
wife, Jami Johnson Adams; daughter, Laurie Lynn Adams and companion, Ashley 
Montelaro; brother, Gary Adams and wife, Elaine Savoie Adams; nieces, Lisa 
Adams and Megan Bourg; nephews, James Adams, Jason Adams and Corey Knight; 
sister, Donna Knight and fiancé, Curtis Bourg Jr.; and two grandchildren, 
Camryn Adams and Jillian Adams.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Foret Adams; and his father, Joseph 
Marcel Adams Jr.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
