Wilbert "Andy" Anderson Sr., 74, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Franklin, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013. Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville. Visitation will also be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Virginia Baptist Church in Ewellville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Virginia Baptist Church cemetery in Ewellville. He is survived by his wife, Louise Wyrick Anderson of Irvingston, Texas; three daughters, Veronica Anderson, Lydia (Ernest) Grathree, of Belle Rose, and Shandreka (Anthony) of New Iberia; Three sons, Wilbert Jr. (Trellis) Anderson of Houston, Texas, Anthony "Robert" (Shirley) McQueen of Pasadena, Texas, and Michael (Desiree) Anderson of New Orleans; three sisters, Viola Wilson of Baton Rouge, Audrey Williams of New Orleans, and Yvonne Anderson of Thibodaux; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Camelia Batiste Anderson; one son, Gilbert Anderson Sr.; brothers, the Rev. Alfred, Joseph and Harry Anderson; and sisters, Olevia McBride, Rose Duncan, Annie Mae Starks and Leona Duncan. Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of arrangements. ======================
