Charlene Moore Babin, 68, a native of Houma and resident of Olive Branch, 
Miss., died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Queen of Peace 
Catholic Church in Olive Branch, Miss. A memorial Mass will be at noon Saturday 
at the church, with a luncheon following in the parish hall. The following 
Saturday, Feb. 2, a memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic 
Church in Houma.

She is survived by her husband, Henry "Hank" Babin; her sister, Shirley Bychok 
of Houma; her brother, Gary Moore and wife, Glenda, of Bourg; sister-in-law, 
Carol LaGrange of Gretna; and brother-in-law, Danny Babin and wife, Bernadette 
of Houma.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Babin; her parents, Irvin Moore and 
Nora Boudloche Moore; brothers, Thaddeus Moore, Floyd Moore and Chris Moore; 
and one stepsister, Iona Bourg.

Canale Funeral Home in Memphis, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements.
