John Roland Boudreaux, 96, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of 
Labadieville, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time today at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. today at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by two sons, Roland "R.J." Boudreaux and wife, Stella V. 
Boudreaux, and Jessie Boudreaux; one daughter, Mae Ann B. Clement; one step-
son, Earl "E.J." Trahan; one step-daughter, Jane Trahan Bergeron; one sister, 
Rita B. Wiggins; seven grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 13 great-
grandchildren; 17 step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edwina Roger Boudreaux; his second 
wife, Vernicia Trahan Boudreaux; son, Joseph V. Boudreaux; daughter, Rita 
Boudreaux; parents, Leo Boudreaux and Cordelia Guillot Boudreaux; 
granddaughters, Christine Clement and Sandy Trahan; son-in-law, Ronald Clement; 
step-daughter, Mamie T. Hebert; sisters, Marie B. Gauthreaux, Althea Clement, 
Josephine Himel and Beulah Marcel; half brothers, Adam Boudreaux and Henry 
Boudreaux; and half sisters, Evelia B. Ledet and Lucille B. Dantin.

Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
