BOURGEOIS, MARIE (DELATTE) 
Obituary

Marie Delatte Bourgeois, 87, a native of Houma and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Saturday at the church.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl B. Soiginer and husband, Wayne A. 
Soiginer; sons, Terry Z. and wife, Debra D. Bourgeois and Michael A. and wife, 
Madonna J. Bourgeois; daughter-in-law, Lynne L. Bourgeois; brother, Felix A. 
Jr. and wife, Helen G. Delatte; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thierry Z. Bourgeois; parents, Felix 
and Marie Louis Cenac Delatte; and son, David A. Bourgeois.

She was a house mother at Nicholls State University for 27 years.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
