Mary Morvant Breaux, 88, a native of Chackbay, and a resident of Thibodaux, 
died Jan. 14, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Charles 
Borromeo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Thursday at the church, 

with burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Breaux Melancon and late husband, Carl 
Melancon, Sherry Breaux Boudreaux and husband, Etienne Boudreaux, Larry Breaux 
and wife, Debra Breaux and Joey Breaux and wife, Karen Breaux; 11 
grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Breaux; parents, Willis C. 
Morvant and Marie Trosclair Morvant, both of Chackbay; and brothers, Nolan, 
Preston and Willis Morvant.

She was a Miraculous Medal promoter for 40 years and a member of the Ladies 
Altar Society.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
