Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Doris Chauvin; one son, Glenn Chauvin and wife, Marlene; daughters, Cynthia C. Bonvillain and husband, Larry, and Christine C. Clause; grandchildren, Alden Bonvillain, Jason Fontenot, Todd Bonvillain, Jennifer Chauvin Bourg, Kyle Clause, Brian Clause and Megan Chauvin; and great- grandchildren, Jacob Langford, Gracie Bourg and Emma Bourg. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vera B. Chauvin; parents, Alden Joseph Chauvin Sr. and Mabel Tabor Chauvin King; sisters, Thelma Lucido and Ruth Sconza; granddaughter, Keli Langford; and great-grandson, Justin Fontenot. He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
