Emma S. Chiasson, 66, a native of New Iberia and a resident of Larose, died at 
7:25 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Samart-Mothe 
Funeral Home in Cut Off. A memorial service will be at noon Saturday at the 
funeral home.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ashley Chiasson; one daughter, 
Rebecca Theriot; brothers, Tommy Schexnader, Lloyd LeBlanc, Stanley LeBlanc Jr. 
and Carrol LeBlanc; sisters, Penny Kirchhoff, Toni Jones, Joyce Rodrigue and 
Marion Badeaux; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Olive Stroud Schexnader; 
stepfather, Stanley LeBlanc Sr.; and brothers Johnny Schexnader, Walter 
Schexnader and Robert LeBlanc.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
