Michael James Combe, 67, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Houma, died 
Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Mulberry 
Baptist Church in Houma. Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at the 
church.

He is survived by his son, Michael Combe Jr. and wife, Karen; daughter, Susan 
Waldron and husband, Joel; and brother, Adrian J. Combe III and wife, Edwyna; 
sister, Liane C. Blanchard and husband, T.J.
He was a devoted grandfather to Abigail and Eleanor Waldron.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Combe; and his parents, A.J. 
and Sibyl Combe Jr.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was retired from the U.S. Customs Service.
He was a graduate of UNO with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
