Landon Aaron Corsaro, born July 6, 2007, in Morgan City, passed away Jan. 26, 
2013.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Hargrave Funeral 
Home in Morgan City. A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the 
funeral home, with dismissal to follow the service.

He is survived by his grandparents Dao Ann Perez and Angel D. Perez; his two 
uncles, Angel Antonio Perez and Nicoli Dallas John Perez; his sister, Allé Ana 
Angel Perez; mother, Radiance Desireé Perez; his great-grandmother, Bruna R. 
Ortiz; great-grandmother, Ly Thi Miller; his great-grandfather, John Carl 
Miller; and great-uncles, Carlos R. Perez and Steven N. Miller.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Carlos B. Perez; and his 
great-great-grandparents Betty and Dallas Miller.

Landon was born a normal, healthy baby boy. At five weeks old, he was diagnosed 
with Shaken Baby Syndrome and was not expected to survive the diagnosis, which 
left him completely neurologically devastated. For someone so small, Landon was 
incredibly strong. He had a desire to live and fixated himself deep in the 
heart of his loving Grammy.

Although he has never received justice or recognition for his bravery, he 
filled so many hearts with love and true understanding and meaning for life. 
His strong heart, patience and will for life kept him here on this earth for 
the short time our family was blessed to have him. He was nothing less than a 
human angel. How could one be so small and be so strong? What was his purpose 
in life? As it was filled with so much pain? It was to bring unconditional love 
and joy into the hearts of those who knew him, as well as give meaning to his 
Grammy's whole life and those who loved him as he was. Landon was a courageous 
fighter and survivor and will be missed dearly by so many.

Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
