Sedonia Josephine Cotton, 90, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes and a resident of 
Houma, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Grace Christian Memorial Gardens in Houma.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby John Cotton and wife, Melissa, Raymond 
Charles Cotton, Herman Charles Cotton, Nolan Brunet and wife, Diane, and Jerry 
Brunet; daughters, Florence Cotton Dardar and Jessie and Deborah Cotton; 
grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Charles Cotton; parents, Joseph 
and Lorenza Naquin Dardar; sons, Kenneth Cotton Sr. and Felton Brunet; and 
daughter, Judy Cotton.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
