Jessie Joseph Dufrene, 64, a native and resident of Houma, died Monday, Jan. 
21, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral 
home.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Marie Dufrene; sons, Thomas Joseph Dufrene and 
Frank James Bourg; daughters, Tammy Ann-Marie Bourg, Barbara Ann Bourg Dupre, 
and Betty Ann Dufrene Authement; sisters, Rita Scioneaux, Dorita Rivette, Mae 
Bonnville and Linda Guidry; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Joann Dufrene, Gloria Dufrene, Pattie 
Guidry and Shirley Cortez; his parents, Thomas Jefferson Dufrene and Bernice 
Birmingham; and his stepmother, Florence Dufrene.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
