She was a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes and a resident of Houma. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until funeral time today at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her husband, Clyde Joseph Duplantis Jr. of Houma; sons, Clyde J. Duplantis III and wife, Denise Charpentier Duplantis of Houma; daughters, Julie Tullier and husband, Charles Tullier Jr. of Baton Rouge. Denise Michel and husband, Angelo Michel, of Houma, Angela Breaux and husband, Barry Breaux, of Houma, and Mary Picou of Houma; grandchildren, Jessica Fernandez, Jeremy Allen, Amanda Michel, Dustin Michel, Andrew Michel, Matthew Duplantis, Daniel Duplantis, Emily Duplantis, Barry Breaux, Claire Breaux, Jerry Picou Jr. and Dylan Michael Stone; great-grandchildren, Gage Allen, Damon Allen and Taylor Allen; brothers, Gary Naquin and wife, Mercedes, Mark Naquin, Dwight Naquin and wife, Cheryl, and Bert Naquin and wife, Lorraine; and sisters, Grace Daigle and husband, Harry, and Fannie Tomlin and husband, Wayne, She was preceded in death by her parents, Dovie and Nezia Naquin; and a son, Daniel James Duplantis. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, the Legion of Mary, Art and Environment Commitee and the Bereavement Committee. She was a lector and Eucharistic minister at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
