Timothy John Dupre, 60, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, and a resident of 
Chauvin, died at 12:33 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin.

He is survived by his wife, Agatha Lirette Dupre; daughters, Andrea Marcel and 
husband, John, and Alicia Luke and husband, Frankie, all of Chauvin; 
grandchildren, Blair Luke, Timmy Picou, Isabelle and Grayson Marcel; brothers, 
Sam Dupre of Toledo Bend, Dean Dupre of Bourg, Marty Dupre of Montegut and Lee 
Dupre of Bourg; sisters, Joann Lyons of Chauvin, Martha Kindrex of Florence, 
Miss., and Sheila Naquin of Pointe-aux-Chenes; numerous nieces and nephews; and 
dear friends, Cyrus Pitre Sr. and Bob Gallardo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norris Dupre and Theresa Naquin Dupre; 
a son, Timothy "Timmy" Dupre Jr.; and a brother, Mike Dupre.

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He retired from Texaco/Chevron after 37 years where he worked as a gas 
allocation analyst supervisor. 

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
