Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Alden Peter Foret Sr.; sons, Alden Peter Foret Jr, and wife, Deborah, and John Anise Foret; daughter, Arlene Marie Callahan and husband, Mark Sr., Peggy Ann Haydel and husband, Gregory Sr., and Jane Mary Weekly and husband, Lonnie; grandchildren, Monica Foret Boudreaux and husband, Ronnie, Daniel LeCompte Jr., Amy C. LeBlanc and husband, Ronnie Jr., Chad Foret and companion, Lee Ann Nowlin, Cody LeCompte and companion, Kirbie Chaisson, Katina L. Adams and Mark Callahan, Jr.; 17 great-grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Charpentier Foret. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elda Charpentier; son, Dale Joseph Foret; brothers, Murphy Sr,, Claude, and Jean Charpentier; sisters, Azalee Tivet and Jeanne Lapeyrouse; the late husband of Katina L. Adams, Cord "Pye" Adams Jr. and the late husband of Amy C. LeBlanc, Clarence "Brud" Authement III. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was a simple person who loved to cook, fish, garden and spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
