Shane J. Gaspard, 42, a native and resident of Galliano, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 
2012.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 
11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with 

burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

He is survived by his parents, Donald Gaspard and Gilda Melancon; children, 
Blaine Gaspard, Kyrie Gaspard and Isaiah Gaspard; grandchildren, Landon and 
Kaelynn Gaspard; godchhild, Katie Duet; brothers, Garon Gaspard and wife, 
Courtney, Cru Gaspard and Shawn Picou; and sisters, Trisha Duet and husband, 
Chance, and Meagan Gaspard.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Judith Martin and Nutsey Hebert 
and Leander and Vesta Gaspard.

He was a hardworking man, a loving father and son who will be sadly missed by 
his family that loved him very dearly.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
