Mary "Sida" Gray, 65, a native of Labadieville and resident of Patterson, died 
Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home 
in Thibodaux. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday 
at St. Phillip Baptist Church in Labadieville. Funeral services will be at 11 
a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Phillip Baptist Church cemetery in Labadieville.

She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Mitchell and Katina (Raymond) Young, 
all of Patterson; four sons, Courtney (Shana) Gray and Marcus Gray, all of 
Centerville, Alfred (Chelsea) Mitchell of New Iberia, and Bryan Mitchell of 
Patterson; two stepdaughters, Elaine and Sheila Gray, both of Thibodaux; five 
stepsons, Tyrone and Harry Gray III of Thibodaux, Wayne Gray of Odessa, Texas, 
Joseph Gray of Midland, Texas, and Gilbert Gray of Houma; one sister, Ruth 
(Louis) Baker of Prentiss, Miss.; and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Bessie Cheathem Mitchell; 
and one brother, Calvin Mitchell.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
