Raymond Roland Gros, 79, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. 
He was a native and resident of Schriever.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Bridget 
Catholic Church in Schriever. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Rodrigue Gros; three sons, Gary Gros, Brian 
Gros and wife, Melissa, and Ray Paul Gros and wife, Shannon, of Lincoln Park, 
Mich.; three daughters, Tammie Pitre, Sharon Broussard and husband, Steven, and 
Kelly Champton and husband, Milton; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 
four great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Carrol Gros.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Gros and Louise Duet Gros; two 
sons, Terry Gros and Douglas Gros; one grandchild, Brad Vercher; and sister-in-
law, Dorothy Gros.

Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
