Myrtle Levert Guidroz, 98, a native of Lockport and a resident of Metairie, 
died at 7:56 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Hilary 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
church, with 

burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.

She is survived by one son, Alba Francis Guidroz Jr.; two daughters, Elizabeth 
Guidroz Fontenelle and Patricia Guidroz Palazzo; one sister, Sadie Levert; 11 
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alba Francis Guidroz Sr.; her 
parents, Eddie and Lydia Gaudet Levert; three brothers, Joe, Phillip and 
Freddie Levert; and two sisters, Ruth McWhorter and Doris Toups.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
