Eva Sanders Jackson, 57, a native of Tallulah and resident of Plattenville, 
died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the Community Worship Center in 
Plattenville. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday 
at the church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with 

burial in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Geismar.

She is survived by her husband, Tyrone Jackson of Plattenville; her mother, 
Geneva Sanders of Tallulah; one daughter, Mauryo and husband, Courtney Jones, 
of Birmingham; two sons, Derrick and wife, Kendralyn Jackson of Dutchtown, and 
Trevis Jackson and fiancee, Joselin Henrique, of Plattenville; one brother, 
Jerry Sanders of Tallulah; three sisters, Sarah and husband, Bennie Sims Sr., 
of Tallulah, Suzan Johnson of Huntsville, Ala., and Geneva and husband, Darnell 
Dorsey, of Monroe; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Sanders Sr.; three sisters, 
Willie Ester Sanders, Irma Hendon and Sharon Buchanan; and two brothers, James 
and Johns Sanders Jr.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of arrangements.
