Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Napoleonville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Edrick Starks of New Orleans, and Joseph Starks of Baton Rouge; four daughters, Pamela Starks of Thibodaux, Tamika Davis of Paincourtville, Tamara Starks of Houma, and Selena Wiffins of Labadieville; four sisters, Brenda (Alvin) Herbert and Janice Jacobs, all of Paincourtville, Dianne (Willie) Cheavious of Napoleonville, and Cheryl Jacobs of Labadieville; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Harden Jacobs; his wife, Irene Starks Jacobs; one infant son; one grandson; and one brother, Michael Jacobs. Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of arrangements. ======================
