Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Friday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery of Chauvin. She is survived by her sons, David Michael LeCompte and wife, Rhonda, and Kent James LeCompte and wife, Julie; daughters, Rhonda L. Zeringue and husband, Ralph, Evelyn L. Pellegrin and husband, Jerome, Kayla L. Russo and husband, Perry, and Angie L. Daigle and husband, Joseph; sister, Inez D. Duplantis; grandchildren, Nikki Z. Hebert, Lainee Z. Hebert, Rhett LeCompte, Manderly P. Boudreaux, Cody LeCompte, Erica L. Martin, Jeremiah Pellegrin, Benji LeCompte, Erin L. Pitre, Naomi Russo, Tessi R. Martin, Kayci R. Allemand, Cameron Blue, Christopher Daigle, Jesse Daigle; and great-grandchildren, Marlee, Jake and Chet Hebert, Macy and Megan Boudreaux, Quentin and Owen Pellegrin, Alissa, Austin, Alexis, Emmy, Collin, and Meg LeCompte, Shea, Drew and Molly Pitre, Jackson, Peyton and Caraline Martin, Kelsie and Kirstin Henry, Hayes and Mia Martin, Mariah and Iniah Daigle. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.J. "Buddie" LeCompte Jr., who was the love of her entire life; her parents, Alexander Adam and May Marie Thibodeaux Duplantis; brothers, Joseph Sr., Herman, Ernest, Davidson, Warner and Ira Sr. Duplantis; sisters, Mildred Domangue and Geraldine Duplantis; grandson, Chet Zeringue; and one great-grandchild. She dedicated her entire life to being a good and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will forever be remembered in our hearts.
