Mark Wendell Ledet, 49, a native and resident of Chauvin, died Thursday, Jan. 
10, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin.

He is survived by his companion, Kelsey Thibodeaux; mother and stepfather, Era 
Mae Mary Trosclair Halbert and Bud Halbert; sons, Brenner Mark Ledet, James 
Ernest-Francis Eshelman, and Stevie Ray-Vaughn Ledet; daughters, Sandi Me'liza 
Thibodeaux and Lori Madysin Ledet; brother, Leonard Francis Ledet Jr.; and 
sister, Joan Elizabeth Ledet-Stoks.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Francis Ledet Sr.; and sister, 
Jeanine Marie Louviere.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
