Janice Margaret Bielinski Loebel, 54, a native of Menomonee Falls, Wisc. and a 
resident of Houma, died at 10:48 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Gregory 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Loebel; her mother, Marion Bielinski; 
brother, Daniel Bielinski Jr.; niece, Becky Vietke and husband, Steven; sister-
in-law, Susan Adams and husband, Lee; sister-in-law, Carolyn Bonam and husband, 
Herb; brother-in-law, John Loebel and wife, Renee; and many nieces, nephews and 
friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Bielinski Sr.; and two sisters, 
Susan Bielinski and Diane Bielinski.

She was a member of the National Honor Society. She was the director of music 
and choir at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She was a proud member of 
Les Amie de la Chanson.
She loved scuba diving and snorkeling, swimming, biking, jogging, gardening, 
sewing, cooking and especially baking. She was a decorator and organizer 
extraordinaire and a peace keeper and mediator. She loved her family and loved 
animals.

She passed away at home, surrounded by her family. She died from complications 
due to cancer.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
