Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Elie Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Barry Lyons and wife, Patti, of Bourg, and Kelly Lyons and wife, Carla, of Chauvin; daughters, Lana LeBlanc and husband, Ted, of Chauvin, and Trudy Lyons Matherne and companion, Fred Marks, of Chauvin; sister, Joyce Rodrigue of Dularge; sister-in-law, Joyce Charpentier of Chauvin; grandchildren, Donnie Lyons, Kyle Lyons, Rusty Lyons, Tracy LeBoeuf, Toby LeBlanc, Kalani Matherne, Laine Matherne, Sandi Matherne, Laci Luke, Hannah LeBoeuf and Jessi Marcel; and great-grandchildren, Bree Lyons, Gage Lyons, Katee Lyons, Kole Lyons, Libbie Lyons, Brooke LeBoeuf, Logan LeBoeuf, Dawson LeBoeuf, Tucker LeBlanc, Gerin Matherne, Brennan Fountain, Braydon Luke, Tristan LeBoeuf, Jaden Marcel and Jansen Marcel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Louis Lyons, parents, Edwin and Adeline Hebert Charpentier; and brothers, Donald Charpentier and E.J. Charpentier Jr. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a friend to all who knew her. A woman of great faith, she is leaving a legacy to many who loved her and will always keep her close to their hearts. She will be deeply missed.
