Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1301.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Pastor Robert "Plug" McGuire Jr., 57, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at his residence. Pastor McGuire was pastor of Genesis Baptist Church and an employee of The Terrebonne Parish School Board. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Friday until gospel music at 6 p.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church in Houma. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at the church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. John Benevolent Cemetery in Houma. Pastor Robert leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sylvia M. McGuire; his mother, Irene M. Holly; a daughter, Michelle McGuire (K-9); three brothers, Frank (Anne) Sealey, Joe B. (Lolita) Holly Jr., and Kayla Paul Holly; and a sister, Melanie Holly Morgan. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert McGuire Sr.; his stepfather, Joe B. Holly Sr.; a niece, Meghan A. Morgan; his maternal grandparents, Alex and Matilda Myles; and his paternal grandparents, Robert McGuire and Arteal White LaGarde. Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements. ======================
