Daisy L. Green Naquin, 68, a native of Selma, Ala. and resident of Houma, died 
Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma.

She is survived by her daughters, Anita Leonard, Sherry Naquin and Crystal 
Fonseca; special niece and nephew, Janet Johnston and David Johnston; siblings, 
Mollie Allen, Nannie Johnston, Gaye Sealy, Emma Foman and husband, Jack, 
Jeanette Bourg, Richard Green and Oliver Green; grandchildren, Marie Naquin, 
Jamie Naquin and companion, Cedric "Squeak" Scott, Tiffany Johnston and 
companion, Megan Robinson, Danita Leonard, James Dean Naquin, Todd Fitch, 
Shawna Leonard, Anthony Ricci and Rebecca Ricci; great-grandchildren, Alexia, 
Maison, McKenzie, Kinsley, Khloe, Caileigh, Jaileigh and one on the way.
She will also be sadly missed by other family members and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elie Naquin Jr.; parents, Lester and 
Myrtle Green; son, James Dean Peeples; siblings, Evelyn Hotard and W.C. Green; 
grandson, Sidney Fitch; and son-in-law, James Greenwell.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
