NGUYEN, HOANG 

Hoang Duc Nguyen, 81, died at 3:40 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. He was a native 
of Vietnam and a resident of Houma.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 6 
to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in 
Houma. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at the 
church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by his spouse, Ngot Nguyen of Houma; son, Long Nguyen and wife, 
Karyna and four children, Kayla, Kelly, Christian and Kelsey; sons, Son Nguyen 
and wife, Ashley, Teddy Nguyen and wife, Nora, Donny Nguyen, Danny Nguyen and 
Johnny Nguyen; and daughters, Thuy Nguyen and husband, Ken, and Mary Nguyen and 
husband, Tuan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lien Nguyen and Ga Nguyen.

He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church and was self-employed.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
