TERREBONNE and LAFOURCHE Parishes, La. OBITUARIY for O'BRIEN, BETTY (MILLER) Submitted by: Louis Lavedan Published in Houma Today & The Daily Comet from January 29 to January 30, 2013 ============================================================================= Copyright. All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ============================================================================= O'BRIEN, BETTY (MILLER) Betty Ellen Miller O'Brien was graciously allowed by our creator in heaven to die peacefully in her sleep during the night Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013. No services are planned at this time. She is survived by her two sons who loved her very, very much, Troy and R.J., and their wives, Lisa and Layla, who also loved her much. Her older sister, Mary Miller Johnson, who loved her much too, was almost always at her side the past few years, and between the two of them they made one person, they used to joke to one another. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda, Taylor, Bailey, Karleigh, Ava, Robbi, and a great-grandchild, Jena, as well as nephews and nieces and their spouses, Jody, James, Jenny, April, Aaron, and other nephews and nieces, and family friends, Danelle, Georgia, Kelly, John and Freamont. Betty firmly believed in the hope for us that God had written in the Bible, which is a resurrection back to life here on Earth, as the person she was before dying, only now without sin, forever young, healthy and living the life our creator intended us to live. God will bless her for having the faith He wanted her to have in Him. May we, the living, show like faith in God, pleasing Him. Doing so, we will see her smiling face again! Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
