He was a native and resident of Houma. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 10:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Annunziata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Solet Ordone of Houma; sons, Scott James Bergeron and Jace "Bucket" Ordone; daughters, Chasity Melancon Triche and husband, Mark Anthony Triche II and Madeline "Maddy" Ordone and companion, Robert "Rob" Dorsey; grandchildren, Haydan Keith Belanger, Brylane Gage Melancon and Koahen Anthony Triche; brother, Don Rodrigue; sisters, Zelma Louviere, Emma Matthews and Bernadette Ordone; half brother, David Lebouef; half sisters, Jessica Lirette, Beatrice Cadiere and Roberta Lebouef; and eight step-brothers and -sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Adam Ordone; mother, Marie Madeline Lombos Lebouef; sister, Rosalean Ordone; father-in-law, John Abbie Solet; and mother in law, Rita "Mim" Solet. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. He was a truck driver for 20 years. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a well-known TPR football and softball coach. He was also involved in school activities with his children. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. He always enjoyed barbeques and seafood boils with family and friends. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and brother, and never met a stranger.
