Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1301.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Lorraine Marie Landry Ory, 70, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Gramercy, entered peacefully into heaven at 5:35 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Paulina. She is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Richard A. Ory. She was the loving mother of Rebecca Ory Hernandez and Angela Ory Landry; and the proud grandmother of Brittany Landry, Brooke Landry, Blaire Landry, Bennett Landry, and Gerard Hernandez. She was the daughter of the late V.J. and Mildred Landry; sister of Donald Landry; and had numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was a graduate of Thibodaux High School and Nichols State University in Thibodaux. She served as an elementary school teacher for more than 31 years with a BS in Education in the Louisiana School System. Lorraine was a devoted wife and mother. Rose Lynn Funeral Home in Lutcher is in charge of arrangements. ======================
