Isabel Resendez Taylor Pattison, 85, a native of McAllen, Texas, and a resident 
of Bourg, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. 
Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Ann 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Ann Catholic Church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Lillianne Taylor Douglas and husband, Roy, of 
Houma; grandchildren, Candace Britt Porche, Ian Joseph Bailey and Hanna Taylor 
Bailey; great-grandchildren, Jonas and Abigail Porche, and Kaylena and Jenica 
Bailey; brother, Gustavo Resendez and wife, Lucia; and a sister, Pilar Luhan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Pattison; parents, Jose 
Resendez and Maria Antoinette Resendez; daughter, Carla Taylor Bailey; one 
infant daughter; and son, Frederick Taylor.

She was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a retired employee of 
Wheless Drilling Co. She was active in community services as a former member of 
the Chamber of Commerce, a volunteer for the Tourist Commission and a volunteer 
at Leonard Chabert Medical Center.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
