Lonnie Christopher Penrod, 23, of Thibodaux, formerly of Indian Mound, Tenn., 
passed away, Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center after 
a brief illness.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Anglin Funeral Home in Dover, 
Tenn. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with 
the Rev. George Miller and the Rev. Roy Johnson to officiate, 

with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. 
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

He is survived by his wife, Erin Porche Penrod of Thibodaux; daughter, Sara 
Maxine Penrod of Thibodaux; parents, Lonnie and Cynthia Penrod of Indian Mound, 
Tenn; sister, Ecaterina Lynn Penrod of Indian Mound, Tenn; and grandmother, 
Florence Penrod of Dover, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lonnie Jack Penrod; and maternal 
grandparents, Duane and Sarah Black.

He was born March 4, 1989, in Nashville, Tenn., the son of Lonnie Dale and 
Cynthia Black Penrod. He was a graduate of Stewart County High School and 
attended the First Baptist Church in Raceland and formerly attended the First 
Baptist Church in Dover, Tenn., and Cross Creek Baptist Church in Indian Mound, 
Tenn.

Anglin Funeral Home in Dover, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements.
