Florence Roger Pitre, 92, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Sunday, Dec. 
30, 2012.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Landry's Funeral Home in 
Thibodaux. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at 
St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, with 

burial in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Stilts and husband, Steven, of 
Thibodaux; sisters, Eula Borne of Reserve, and Ouida Mae Faucheux of Lutcher; 
brother, Earl Roger and wife, Ethel of Eunice; and granddaughter, Stephanie 
Stilts of Hattiesburg, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raoul "Black" Pitre of Thibodaux; her 
parents, Leo and Helen Clement Roger of Thibodaux; sisters, Ruby Richard of 
Schriever, and Earline Gaubert and Doris Bourgeois of Thibodaux; brothers, 
Malvin, Algi, and Milton Roger of Thibodaux; and grandson, Sean Michael Stilts 
of Thibodaux.

Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
