Price Sr., 62, a native and resident of Chauvin, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Visitation will also be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan B. Price; children, Amy Price, Dawn P. Hebert (Kevin "Boo" Hebert), and Steve Price Jr. (Rebecca C. Price); father, Norris Price Sr.; stepmother, Georgiana; siblings, Bonnie P. Lirette, Debra P. Dupre (Wade Dupre) and Norris Price Jr. (Carla Price); grandchildren, Kevin Theriot, Joey Hebert, Ashleigh Price, Eric Hebert, Dani Lynn Lilliman and Broc Price; great-grandchildren: Mavrick Savoie, Beaux Savoie, Jaydin Molinere, and two on the way; mother-in-law, Eva G. Boudwin; brothers-in-law, Ray, David, Perry and Darren Boudwin; sisters-in-law, Irene Dymnikova and Rebecca Scott; and stepbrothers, Bruce Luke, Craig Luke and Allen Luke. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette L. Price; grandparents, Stanley and Olive Price, and Lovy and Lillian Luke; brothers-in- law, Johnny Lirette, Leland LeCompte, Herman Trahan Sr. and Vance Scott; father-in-law, Ray Boudwin Sr.; and his dog, "Dakota Ray", a friend of 15 years. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a co-owner of Price Seafood, Inc. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son and brother. He loved hunting, fishing and trawling. He was a third degree Knight of Columbus and a member of Woodmen of the World. Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
