William J. Rhodes, 86, a native of Houma and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.

Services will be at a later date.

He is survived by his son, John A. Rhodes and companion, David Milles; 
daughter, Elizabeth Brunet and companion, Jacky Mounts; grandchildren, Melissa 
Kraemer and husband, Jason, Michelle Bergeron and husband, Chase, and Jennifer 
Brunet and companion, Charles; five great-grandchildren; two step-great-
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Rhodes; parents, Hilton Rhodes and 
Mary Hebert Bergeron; and sisters, Hilda Daigle and Everlyn Wilson.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
