Gladys David Richard, 97, a resident of Seminary, Miss., formerly of New 
Orleans, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, at her daughter's residence.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Thomas 
Catholic Church in Hattiesburg, Miss. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 
a.m. Thursday at the church, 

with burial at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery 
in New Orleans.

She is survived by a son, Ray D. (Claudia) Richard of Hattiesburg; a daughter, 
Diane Katherine (Dr. Stoney) Williamson of Seminary, Miss.; six grandchildren; 
and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julien Delma Richard; parents, Leo 
and Octavie Blanchard David; and four brothers, Herlin, Bradley, Revlin and 
Wesley David.

She retired as a medical transcriptionist for Oschner Foundation Hospital and 
was a parishioner of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, Miss., is in charge of 
arrangements.
