Arthur Porterfield Robinson Sr., 73, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Paul Baptist 
Church in Lafourche Crossing. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the 
church, 

with burial in Brooklyn Lane Cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by his wife, Lydia "Ms. Pete" Robinson; sons, Arthur (Leslie 
Etienne) Robinson Jr., Rickey Jackson, Reynald Jackson, and Corey Jackson; 
daughters Rhonda Robinson-Blackledge, Stephanie Robinson Alexander, Stacy 
(Jeffery Ricard) Robinson; brothers, Herbert (Lucille) Robinson and Naaman 
(Angela) Robinson; sisters, Eska Mae Weaver, Ella B. Thomas and Verline 
Ambrose; 23 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelvin Sr. and Annie Robinson; 
brothers, Willie, Shelvin Jr., Harry Sr., Mitchell Sr., Granvil Sr., Ivory Sr., 
Alvin Robinson and Ernest Williams Sr.; and sisters, Lucille R. Joseph and 
Olivia R. Cleveland.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
